The pedestal type transformer radial and ring operating, is integrated into a tank and in a tightly coupled cabinet. These include one or more switches, pads and other oil immersed accessories, designed and manufactured for underground distribution systems operation (where the primary feeder arrives independently to each processor).

The tanks are equipped with a separate console and bolted to the transformer. This serves as circuit’s protection, for both high and low voltage and each one with separate doors. They are further equipped with a mechanical highly secure enclave, which doesn’t allow to open the high voltage compartment without opening first the low voltage.

The high voltage accessories are preformed as elastomeric type of under load operation and dead front, which allows a perfectly safe operation. Feeding is done through an under load isolator and protects the transformer with the coordinated fuses system for effective protection against short circuits or overloads.

The manufacture of this model represents the level of voltage isolation from classes 15, 25 up to 34.5 kV, manufactured under the Mexican standard NMX-J-285-1996-ANCE.
